The Tisza earned half a billion forints in Q3 2024
On December 2, 2024, the Tisza Party published its financial report for the third quarter, albeit over two months late. The report covers the financial activities from July to September 2024, detailing both earnings and expenditures.
The party's revenue for this period reached approximately 525,536,607 HUF (Hungarian Forint). Of this amount, over 483 million came from various contributions, while around 42 million was generated from online sales. Notably, 310 million HUF was sourced from so-called "system change cards."
Expenditures Breakdown
In terms of expenses, the total recorded was 483,041,348 HUF. A significant portion was spent on event-related costs, including 142.2 million HUF for event technical services and 29 million HUF for event insurance. A recent audio recording indicated that the party spent 103 million HUF on a demonstration organized at Heroes' Square.
The second-largest expense category was gross salary costs, amounting to 114.4 million HUF, followed by 56 million HUF spent on film and visual content production.
Organizational Growth
The report also highlights a notable increase in the party's organizational capacity. As of the end of September, the Tisza Party employed 40 staff members and collaborated with nearly 40,000 activists. Additionally, the number of Tisza Islands supporters has grown to nearly 1,000. The introduction of the system change card has contributed to an increase in their overall supporter base, exceeding 17,000 individuals.
