Magyar Posta to raise prices in 2025
The Hungarian Postal Service has announced a price increase beginning January 1, 2025. This decision aims to maintain high-quality services that meet modern customer expectations while operating efficiently.
New Rates
Starting in 2025, rates for the most commonly used mail categories will change as follows:
- The price for domestic priority letters, weighing under 50 grams, will rise by HUF 25, from HUF 365 to HUF 390.
- The domestic non-priority letter price will increase by HUF 15, changing from HUF 255 to HUF 270.
- For paper-based submissions, the fee for registered mail will go up by HUF 70.
- The fee for additional service letters with return receipt will increase by HUF 120.
- The rate for registered letters sent with electronic data will change from HUF 660 to HUF 725.
- The fee for return receipt letters sent electronically will increase from HUF 480 to HUF 590.
