Keanu Reeves' new film features real Boeing aircraft in Budapest

Keanu Reeves and Kirsten Dunst are set to star in a new project directed by Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund. The film, titled "The Entertainment System Is Down," is currently in the pre-production stages in Budapest, where filming will take place.

Unique Set Piece

For this film, producers are going all out by incorporating a genuine Boeing 747 as part of the set. The construction of the aircraft began last November, and Östlund shared a video on his Instagram, stating, "Let's build a complete plane that cannot fly!"

Star-Studded Cast

The film boasts an impressive cast that includes not only Keanu Reeves and Kirsten Dunst but also Daniel Brühl and Connor Swindells. It is a European co-production, funded by multiple organizations including the Swedish Film Institute, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, and more. Additional partners include Canal+, Disney+, ARTE France, and Creative Europe Media.
