Emilia Clarke films in Budapest

Emilia Clarke, known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in "Game of Thrones," has arrived in Hungary to film a new project.

The actress recently popped into a nail salon in the XIII district of Újlipótváros, where the salon shared the news on Instagram, delighting fans with a glimpse of the star.

Upcoming Series

Clarke is set to star in a historical thriller titled "Ponies." Filming is expected to start in early February in Budapest. While details about the series remain scarce on IMDb, it has been confirmed that Clarke will be joined by Haley Lu Richardson, recognized for her role in "The White Lotus."

The plot, set in 1977, follows the lives of two CIA agents in Moscow. Clarke's character, Bea, is an intellectual fluent in Russian, while her partner Twila, played by Richardson, is a brave girl from a small town. Their husbands die under mysterious circumstances in the Soviet Union, leading the women to uncover a Cold War conspiracy during their investigation.
