- Katy Perry to Perform in Budapest: After a 15-year absence, Katy Perry will return to Budapest on October 27, 2025, for her tour "The Lifetimes," taking place at the MVM Dome. The pop superstar, known for hits like "I Kissed a Girl" and "Roar," last performed in the city in 2010.

- Seven Golden Globe nominations for "The Brutalist" - about Hungarian architect: The film "The Brutalist," featuring a Hungarian architect's journey in America, has garnered seven nominations for the upcoming Golden Globe Awards. Directed by Brady Corbet and starring Adrien Brody, Guy Pearce, and Felicity Jones, the film's screenplay and original score have also received recognition.
Premiering at the Budapest International Film Festival, it will be released in Hungarian cinemas in January 2025. Meanwhile, "Emilia Perez" leads nominations with ten, while other notable films and series are also in contention. The Golden Globes ceremony will be held on January 6, 2024, Hungary time. - Guns N' Roses to perform in Budapest in 2025: Rock fans, rejoice! Guns N' Roses will return to Budapest for their fourth concert on July 15, 2025, at the Puskás Arena. This follows their last show in Hungary last year, with previous performances in 1992 and 2006.

- Hungarian-South Korean skater Kim Min-seok wins world cup: Naturalized Hungarian speed skater Kim Min-seok has made headlines after winning in the B division of the 1000 meters at the World Cup event in Nagaon, Japan, clocking 1:09.39. He also secured a victory in the 1500 meters shortly after.
