Billy Idol to Perform in Budapest This Summer

This summer, legendary musician Billy Idol is set to return to Budapest for a concert at Budapest Park on July 8, marking his first performance in Hungary in two and a half years.

Billy Idol, known for his iconic hits like "White Wedding" and "Rebel Yell," made the announcement through a humorous promotional video about his "It's a Nice Day to... Tour Again," which will take him across the United States, with stops in Austria and Hungary. This concert in Budapest was officially announced recently.

Idol, whose real name is William Michael Albert Broad, gained fame in the 1980s as a prominent figure in rock music. He started his music career in the early 1970s, but it was with the punk band Generation X that he achieved significant recognition. Idol transitioned to a solo career in the early 1980s after moving to America, where he released his self-titled debut album that contributed to his global fame.
